# Configure a permit-to-work request

Edit existing questions on a permit to work form or add new questions.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin and sn\_hs\_rm.permit\_coordinator

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Service catalog** > **Catalog definitions** > **Record producers**.

2.  Search for and select **Request a permit to work**.

3.  Either add new questions or edit existing questions.

**Add a new question**

1.  In the Variables related list, select **New**.
2.  On theVariable new record form, fill in the fields.

3.  Select **Submit**.

**Modify an existing question**

1.  In the Variables related list, select the existing question.
2.  Edit the information.
3.  Select **Update**.
