# Create a job requisition as a hiring manager

Request for a job requisition for a vacancy you want to fill in your organization.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_ta\_hiring\_core.hiring\_manager

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Employee Center** > **Your team** > **Hiring**.

2.  Select **Request a job opening**.

3.  On the new job opening request form, fill in the fields.

4.  Select save or submit.

    |Selection|Action|
    |---------|------|
    |**Save as draft**|The job requisition details are saved as a draft.|
    |**Submit**|A new job requisition is created.|

    Access the saved draft in the **Draft** tab under My Requests.

    **Note:**

    When a job request is created by a hiring manager, the recruiter can see the open request on the overview page of the Recruitment Workspace. ## Result

A job requisition is created and in New state.
