# Configure Document Templates for DocuSign

Configure document templates to enable signing using the Docusign application.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_dt\_docusign.admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All Document Templates**.

2.  Select a template.

3.  Fill in the required fields on the form.

    1.  In the **Signing type** field, select **DocuSign**.
    2.  [Define participants](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/employee-service-management/hr-service-delivery/create-participant.md), define tasks for participants, and mark signature blocks.
    3.  Associate the document template to the [HR template of a service](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/employee-service-management/hr-service-delivery/configure-hr-service.md) and [initiate document tasks from a case](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/employee-service-management/hr-service-delivery/task-mapped-participants.md).

## What to do next

User who receives the document task can use the Docusign application for signing the document.
