# Download and fill Excel templates for bulk upload

Use an Excel template to provide information about your campuses, buildings, and floors.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_map\_core.admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Indoor Mapping** > **Map Studio**.

2.  On the **Bulk hierarchy upload** card, select **Upload hierarchy**.

3.  In the Download Excel Templates section, download a template based on your requirement.

4.  In the downloaded template file, fill in the information.

    **Important:** You must use the precise latitude and longitude coordinates for your campus and building. For more information about getting precise coordinates, see [Google Maps Help](https://support.google.com/maps/answer/18539).


## What to do next

After filling the Excel template files, you can upload them to your instance. You must upload the files in the following order: **Campus** > **Building** > **Floor**.
