# Georeference your floor plan

Georeference and position your source floor plan on the map to scale it.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1.  Select the Map Configuration tab to display the Map configuration page.

    **Note:** if the floor plan isn’t positioned on the map, georeference isn’t set \(\[Omitted image "wsd-warning-icon.png"\] Alt text: Georeference not set warning alert.\) alert is shown.

2.  Select Georeference, then select **Edit**.

3.  Move around the pins to position your floor plan on the map.

4.  Select **Display**, then from the drop-down list, enable the radio button for the required floors.

5.  Select **Save**.
