# Activate Onboarding ramp-up trigger

Enable the Onboarding ramp-up trigger to ensure that the workflow runs at the right time during the employee onboarding. This automates plan generation, reduces manual setup for managers, and improves consistency in onboarding processes.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **AI Agent Studio**.

2.  Go to **Create and Manage** tab.

3.  Select **Generate onboarding ramp-up plan** from the list.

4.  Select **Add a preferred trigger**.

5.  Select **Onboarding ramp-up trigger** in the **Define trigger** window and duplicate it.

6.  Activate the trigger by clicking on the **Active** toggle button.

7.  Select `Employee Center` under **Portal**.

8.  Select **Save**.
