# Configure the Start onboarding widget

Journey designer administrators can configure the Start onboarding widget to create a banner that's used for welcoming an onboarding employee to your organization. Administrators can configure the content and design associated with the banner to meet the needs of your organization.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin \[sn\_jny.admin\]

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to the **All** menu, and enter `sn_cd_content_base.list` in the navigation filter.

    The Content \[sn\_cd\_content\_base\] table appears.

2.  Select **Title** from the drop-down list associated with the **Search** field.

3.  In the **Search** field, enter `start onboarding`.

    The Start Onboarding record appears.

4.  Select **Start Onboarding**.

    The Start Onboarding form appears.

5.  Select **Checkout**.

    The fields in the form become available to edit.

6.  Fill in the fields in the Start Onboarding form.

7.  Specify whether you want to save your design or save and publish your design.

    |Option|Description|
    |------|-----------|
    |**Save**|To save the record and remain on the **Design** tab.|
    |**Save and continue**|To save the record and move to the **Publish** tab.|
