# Update users' permissions for journeys

Users in a journey have permissions that enable different levels of access to a journey. Administrators modify user permissions for different types of journeys.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_jny.admin or admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Journey designer** > **Mange Journey Configurations**.

2.  Select the configuration to modify.

3.  Select the tab for the user permissions to modify.

    -   **Journey owner permissions**
    -   **Mentor permissions**

4.  Select a check box to enable the permission, or clear a check box to disable the permission.

5.  Select **Update** to save your changes.
