# Gift Policies form

Use the Gift Policies form to add policy in accordance with your organization's policy.

Transaction type

</td><td>

The type of transaction between the parties.-   Giving: When the requester of disclosure is giving a gift or entertainment.
-   Receiving: When the requester of disclosure is receiving a gift or entertainment.

Recipient type

</td><td>

Recipient that is either internal or external to the organization.-   Internal - within the company: An employee within the company who is giving or receiving gifts or entertainment.
-   External party: A user outside of the company who is giving or receiving gifts or entertainment.

Maximum amount allowed

</td><td>

The maximum permissible value for gifts or entertainment. An approval flow is triggered when the submitted disclosure exceeds the maximum amount allowed.

Effective from date

Date from which the policy is active.

Effective to date

</td><td>

Date on which the policy becomes inactive.
