# Manage involved parties in a legal request or legal matter

Add a new involved party or modify the information of an existing involved party in a legal request or legal matter related to a complaint.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_lg\_investigate.fulfiller

## About this task

Involved parties are individuals who are directly or indirectly connected to a complaint, such as complainants, witnesses, the subjects of allegations, and other relevant individuals. These individuals can be from within or outside the organization.

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Legal Request** > **Legal Counsel Center**.

2.  Open a legal request or legal matter assigned to you in which you want to manage the involved parties.

3.  In the **Involved Parties** tab, add or modify an involved party.

    -   To add an involved party, click **New**.
    -   To modify an existing an involved party, open an involved party from the list.
4.  On the form, fill in the fields.

5.  Click **Save**.
