# Enable or disable notifications

Enable or disable Legal Counsel Center notifications to subscribe to items that interest you and unsubscribe from information that does not interest you and is not mandatory.

## Before you begin

You must have the following applications installed:

-   Legal Request Management
-   Legal Counsel Center

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Self-Service** > **My Notification Preferences**.

2.  Select **Advanced Preferences** in the **General** tab of the Notifications window.

3.  Enter `Legal` in the Search notifications field.

4.  Enable or disable any legal matters or legal request notifications.


## Result

The notification is enabled or disabled for the user.
