# Create a document block for legal contract templates

Create document blocks that you can use in multiple document templates for legal contracts.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## About this task

**Note:** All document template blocks must be created in the Legal Request Management application scope only.

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Legal Administration** > **Simple Contracts Admin** > **Template Blocks**.

2.  Click **New**.

3.  On the form, fill in the fields.
