# Wet Signature workflow

The wet signature workflow is triggered when a legal request with signature type as Wet Signature is sent to the signatories for signing.

The signature type is specified while submitting a legal request. The generic workflow for wet signature might progress as follows.

As a signatory:

-   Receive an email notification requesting your signature.
-   Open the contract document attached to the email.
-   Print the contract attachment.
-   Sign the contract printout and send it back to the requester.

As a legal requester:

-   After receiving the signed contract document from all signatories, generate digital copy in PDF format.
-   Attach the digital copy of the contract document to the legal request.
