# Install AI agents for Health and Safety

Install AI agents on your ServiceNow instance to enable the agentic AI experience.

## Before you begin

To get started with AI agents, you must enable AI Search on your instance.

Role required: sn\_aia\_admin

## About this task

AI agents are not standalone applications that you can install directly. To enable AI agents on your instance, you must install and activate ServiceNow Otto for Health and Safety. For more information, see [Install ServiceNow Otto for Health and Safety](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/employee-service-management/now-assist-for-health-and-safety/now-assist-hs-install.md).

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **System Definition** > **Plugins**.

2.  Search for and select the ServiceNow Otto for Health and Safety application.

3.  Select **Install**.


## Result

The AI Agent for Health and safety \[sn\_hs\_ai\_agents\] plugin associated with the ServiceNow Otto for Health and Safety application is installed on your instance.
