# Create custom opportunity details records in Opportunity Marketplace

You can customize the details for an opportunity type in Opportunity Marketplace.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Opportunity Marketplace** > **Opportunity type configuration**.

2.  Select an existing **Opportunity type**.

3.  Open an existing **Opportunity details** record.

    1.  Select the information icon next to the **Opportunity details** field to preview the record.

    2.  Select **Open Record**.

    You’re taken to the **Record Producer** record for the opportunity roles and requirements.

4.  Select **Copy**.

    A copy of the record is created. Copying this record can take sometime.

5.  When a copy of the record is available, update the following fields.

    -   **Name**
    -   **Short description**
6.  Review and update any other fields you want to change.

7.  Select **Update**.


## What to do next

The copied \(cloned\) opportunity details record is available to select by opportunity owners.
