# Add options to a question

Add options for a question on Career Assessment.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_exam.catalog\_admin

Users configured as part of the admin list, can contribute user criteria or owner of the associated catalog can add options for questions in an exam.

Create a question. See, [Add questions to an exam](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/employee-service-management/talent-development-core/add-questions-exam.md).

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Career Assessment** > **Exams** > **All**.

2.  Select the exam you want to add questions to.

3.  Select **Move to Edit** if the exam is in Published state.

4.  Select the question you want to add options to.

5.  In the question options section, select **New**.

6.  On the form, fill in the fields.

7.  Select **Submit**.
