# Add questions to an exam

Add questions for an exam in Career Assessment.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_exam.catalog\_admin

Users configured as part of the admin list, can contribute user criteria or owner of the associated catalog can add questions for an exam.

Create an exam. See, [Create an exam](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/employee-service-management/talent-development-core/create-exam.md).

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Career Assessment** > **Exams** > **All**.

2.  Select the exam you want to add questions to.

3.  Select **Move to Edit** if the exam is in Published state.

4.  In the questions section, click **New**.

5.  On the form, fill in the fields.

6.  Select **Submit**.
