# Set Talent Development Properties

Set properties to control manager skill approvals and activity completion flows.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_egd\_core.admin or admin

## About this task

Set the following Talent properties:

-   **Talent properties to control manager skill approvals**
    -   **no**: Manager skill approvals are skipped.
    -   **optional**: Manager skill approvals are automatically suggested, but not required.
    -   **required**: Manager skill approvals are automatically created.
-   **Set all activities to ready when Growth Plans are launched**

    Set all activities to ready when **Growth Plans** are **Published**.


## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Talent Development Core** > **Administration** > **Properties**.

2.  Select the property settings.

3.  Select **Save**.
