# License Talent Development Core users

Talent Development Core uses the Employee Profile licensing feature to license user.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_egd\_core.admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Employee Profile** > **Application licensing** > **Employee licensing**.

2.  Select **New**.

3.  Fill in the **Employee Application Access Criteria** form.

    Read about the fields in this form in [Employee Application Access Criteria reference](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/employee-service-management/talent-development-core/egd-empl-profile-app-access-criteria-form.md). Use a filter condition that meets your criteria for who should be licensed.

    **Note:** All conditions on a single criteria form must be met. However, a user doesn't have to meet all of the criteria listed for employee licensing, they just have to meet the criteria for one of the records.

4.  Select **Submit**.


## What to do next

You can view the list of licensed users by navigating to **All** > **Employee Profile** > **Application licensing** and opening a record.
