# Run quick start tests for Talent Development Core

Run quick start tests to verify the Talent Development Core app and features still work after each upgrade and deployment of new applications or integrations. If you customized Talent Development Core, you must configure the quick start tests to ensure they're compatible with your customizations.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_egd\_core.admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Automated Test Framework** > **Tests**.

2.  Search and select the quick start tests you want to run.

3.  Click **Run Test**.

    The Test Steps tab provides each step of the quick start test.

    After the tests run, the Step Results tab shows the status of each test step. Screen shots also appear at the top of the form as attachments.

Use Performance Profiling to compare tests to detect performance degradation when you upgrade your instance, so you can investigate and fix the issues.
