# Configure approvers of a scenario

Configure approvers for scenarios that are sent for approval. Edit the scenario approval definition to add or remove scenarios. By default, the workplace managers are configured to approve a scenario

## Before you begin

You can either edit the default scenario approval definition, **Scenario Plan Approval**, that is provided the application or create a new approval definition.

To create a new approval definition, refer to [Create an approval definition](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/employee-service-management/workplace-core/create-approval-defintion.md).

**Note:** To add an approver to the approval definition, the approver must be configured in the performer criteria. To do so, refer to [Create a workplace performer criteria](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/employee-service-management/workplace-core/create-workplace-performer-criteria.md).

Role required: sn\_wsd\_core.admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Workplace Core** > **Administration** > **Approval definitions**.

2.  Select **Scenario Plan Approval** approval definition.

3.  On the form, scroll down to the Workplace Approval Configurations related list.

4.  Select **Scenario Plan Approver**.

5.  On the form, add approvers in the **Approvers** field.

6.  Click **Update**.


## Result

The approver is configured to review the scenario.
