# Manage scenarios using Space Planning

Create, copy, or delete space planning scenarios.

## Before you begin

To manage scenarios, verify that the following plugins are installed:

-   Workplace Core
-   Workplace Space Management
-   Indoor Mapping \(for map-based administration\)
-   Workplace Case Management
-   Workplace Central
-   Workplace Service Delivery components

Role required: sn\_wsd\_spcmgmt.space\_planner, sn\_wsd\_spcmgmt.scenario\_reader \(read only; to view a scenario\)

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Workplace Central** > **Workplace Central**.

2.  On the side navigation, select the **Space Planning** module.

    The Space Planning workspace opens with the **Floor plan** tab selected by default.

3.  Select the **Scenarios** tab.

    The list of scenarios opens with details like their name, location, group by value, state, and owner.

4.  Manage the scenarios based on your requirement.

**Create a scenario**

</td><td>

1.  On the Scenarios list, select **Create Scenario**.
2.  On the Create new scenario form, fill in the fields.

3.  Select **Save scenario**.

The new scenario is created in the **Processing** state and takes some time to move to the **Draft** state. You can’t open a scenario that is in the Processing state.

4.  Select the Refresh icon \[Omitted image "refresh-icon.png"\] Alt text: to check if your scenario has moved to the **Draft** state.

**Create a copy of a scenario**

**View or edit a scenario**

Select a scenario to view information like the floor details and space KPIs. **Publish a scenario**
