# View facility assets in Workplace Central

Use the Facility Assets list to look up an asset and its related cases without leaving Workplace Central.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_wsd\_case.manager

## About this task

The Facility Assets section in the Lists area of Workplace Central shows asset details, workplace cases, maintenance cases, and maintenance plan records. Case agents, case managers, and facilities managers can view this information without switching to the Enterprise Asset Management workspace.

**Note:** The Extended Model and Asset Classes plugin \(sn\_ent\) must be installed to view the Facility Assets and Facility Models lists in Workplace Central. The Workplace Maintenance Cases and Workplace Maintenance Plan Records tabs appear only if the Workplace Maintenance Management plugin \(sn\_wsd\_maintenance\) is installed.

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Workplace Central** > **Lists** > **Facility Assets**.

2.  Select the facility asset record from the list.

3.  Select the following tabs to view asset information:

    -   **__Assets__**

        General information about the asset, such as name, type, location, and warranty information.

    -   **__Workplace Cases__**

        All workplace cases created for the asset, so you can identify and access related case work.

    -   **__Workplace Maintenance Cases__**

        All maintenance cases associated with the asset, including service history and ongoing maintenance work.

    -   **__Workplace Maintenance Plan Records__**

        All maintenance plans linked to the asset, so you can review scheduled or recurring maintenance programs.
