# Add a flexible service to workplace item

Enable employees to request for extra services. Add an extra service to a workplace space or room, and make the service available to employees when they make a reservation.

## Before you begin

Make sure you have already created a flexible service. See [Create a flexible service](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/employee-service-management/workplace-reservation-management/add-flexible-service.md).

**Warning:** Starting with Workplace Reservation Management version 2.1.2, The Flexible Services related list is no longer available. If you have installed Workplace Reservation Management version 2.1.2 or above directly \(as a first time user\), there will be no impact and the following conditions does not apply to you.

After upgrading, the flexible services are available as Workplace Service Items. To view the available workplace service items, view the Workplace Service Items related list. To add a workplace service item to the workplace space/room, open the Workplace Service and select the Workplace Service Item. After you open the Workplace Service Item record, add the workplace in the Workplace Service Item Locations related list. ## About this task

Configure flexible services and add them to a workplace space or room. When an employee makes a reservation for the workplace space or room, they can use the flexible services as extra services.

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Workplace Reservation Management** > **Administration**.

2.  Based on where you are adding the flexible service, do one of the following.

    -   To add the service to a workplace space, select **Workplace Spaces**.
    -   To add the service to a workplace room, select **Workplace Rooms**.
3.  Select the workplace space room where you want to add the flexible service.

4.  On the form, scroll down and click **Edit** in the Flexible Services related list.

5.  On the Edit Members form, select the service.

    1.  From the **Collection** column on the left, select the flexible service.

    2.  To move the service to the **Flexible Services List** column on the right, use the add-remove icon.

6.  Click **Save**.


## Result

The flexible service is added to the selected workplace space or room.
