# Create a visitor badge template

Create an HTML template that can be used to print badges for your workplace locations.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_wsd\_core.admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Workplace Visitor Management** > **Administration** > **Visitor badge templates**.

2.  On the Html Templates list, select **New**.

3.  On the form, fill in the fields.

Name of the HTML template record.

Body

</td><td>

Body of the HTML template.You can use the source code icon \(**&lt;&gt;**\) to edit the HTML code of the body.

You can select fields from the **Select variables** option to add them as variables to the HTML body.

Table

</td><td>

Table that variables for the template are picked from.The Visitor Registration \[sn\_wsd\_visitor\_visitor\_registration\] table is selected by default.

</td></tr><tr><td>

Order

</td><td>

Order of the visitor badge template. A template with a lower order is selected first.

</td></tr><tr><td>

Paper size

</td><td>

Paper size that is used to print the badge.

</table>4.  In the **Apply if** field, add conditions for when the badge template is applicable.

    For more information about conditions, see [Condition builder](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/platform-user-interface/c_ConditionBuilder.md).

    For example, `Visitor type is Client` specifies that the badge is printed for clients.

5.  Select **Submit**.

    The badge template record is created.
