# Create a campaign

Create a campaign to group manual, calculated, and automated metrics into a single unit for collection, review, and approval.

## Before you begin

-   Campaigns must be enabled. For more information, see [Enable campaigns](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/environmental-social-governance/enable-campaigns.md).
-   Role required: sn\_grc\_metric.manager

## About this task

The group, calendar, and frequency you select define the campaign's metric set. These fields can be changed during setup, but they lock once the campaign is published. A checkmark appears next to each section in the left panel once that section has at least one required record.

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Operational Sustainability Management** > **Operational Sustainability Workspace**.

2.  From the left panel, select the **List** icon.

3.  Select **Metrics** > **Campaigns**.

4.  Select **New**.

5.  On the form, fill in the fields.

    |Field|Description|
    |-----|-----------|
    |Name|Name of the campaign.|
    |Description|Description of the campaign.|
    |Group|Group of metrics to include in the campaign.|
    |Calendar|Calendar used to determine metric period dates.|
    |Frequency|How often the campaign runs.|
    |First run date|Date the first data collection cycle begins.|

6.  Select **Save**.
