# Change views in Workforce

Switching between assignment group and territory views in Workforce helps simplify planning and managing team tasks and resources efficiently.

## Before you begin

Role required: wm\_basic

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Workforce**.

    -   Managers, navigate to **All** > **Field Service** > **Manager** > **Workforce**.
    -   Agents, navigate to **All** > **Field Service** > **Agent** > **Workforce**.
    -   If Workforce Optimization is installed and activated, managers can navigate to **Workspaces** > **Manager Workspace** > **Workforce**.
2.  Select the gear icon.

3.  In the **Show resources by** field, select **Assignment group** or **Territory**.

    If **Territory** isn’t listed in the **Show resources by** field, have your administrator verify that [Field Service Territory Planning](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/field-service-management/workforce-optimization-for-field-service/configuring-territory-planning-fsm.md) is properly configured.

4.  Select **Save**.
