If an assignment group does not meet a constraint, it is excluded from consideration. For example, if the Enable Mandatory Skills constraint is active, only assignment groups with agents who have the required skills are considered for task assignments. For a list of constraints, see [Objectives and constraints used with Schedule Optimization](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/field-service-management/hard-soft-constraints.md). ## Procedure 1. Navigate to **All** > **Schedule Optimization** > **Administration** > **Policies**. 2. Select the policy. 3. Select the **Constraint** tab. 4. Select **New**. 5. In the **Optimization Features** field, select the Lookup icon \(\[Omitted image "List\_SearchIcon.png"\] Alt text: Lookup icon.\) and select the constraint to add. 6. Select **Submit**.
