# Search for appropriate Field Service agents

Search for agents with specific attributes in Dispatcher Workspace so you can make appropriate assignments.

## Before you begin

Role required: wm\_dispatcher

## About this task

**Note:** Distance, Skills, and Parts sort options are only available for selection after you select a task in the task panel. These options are enabled based on the selected task.

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Field Service** > **Dispatching** > **Dispatcher Workspace**.

2.  Select **Dispatcher Workspace**.

3.  Search for field service agents or skills.

**Agent name**

</td><td>

Type an agent name in the **Search resources** field and select the Search \(\[Omitted image "search\_icon.png"\] Alt text: Search.\) icon.

**Rank Resources**

Rank resources by level of importance.1.  Select the Rank Resources \[Omitted image "rank-resources-icon-fsm.png"\] Alt text: Rank resources. icon
2.  Select a sort option to view the agents who meet the specific attributes and are available: **Default**, **Distance**, **Skills**, **Parts**, **Auto Assign Rules**. Select a date from the calendar to view agents who are available on the selected day.

## Result

Field service agents are listed based on the filter criteria. If agents aren’t available for the time period mentioned in the work order task, a message displays.
