# View a task or event on the calendar from the map

Quickly view tasks or events on the calendar from the map in Dispatcher Workspace.

## Before you begin

Role required: wm\_dispatcher

## About this task

You can view individual tasks directly from the map. For collocated markers \(multiple tasks at the same location\), open the contextual side panel first, then follow the steps in [View a task or event on the calendar](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/field-service-management/field-service-scheduling/view-task-panel-csp.md).

If you are in map mode and select **View on calendar**, then you’re switched to Hybrid mode to see the task on the calendar.

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Field Service** > **Dispatching** > **Dispatcher Workspace**.

2.  Select **Dispatcher Workspace**.

3.  Select **Map** or **Hybrid** mode.

4.  Select the task that you want to view on the calendar.

5.  Select **View on calendar**.

    The calendar displays the task at its scheduled date and time, with the assigned agent in the **Added resources** section.
