# Create a personal event in the ServiceNow Agent

Create personal events in the ServiceNow Agent mobile app to block off time for a break, a phone call, or a recurring commitment.

## Before you begin

Role required: wm\_agent

## About this task

Events created with ServiceNow Agent show as personal in the calendar view. You can set an event to recur so you don't have to re-create it for each occurrence.

## Procedure

1.  Open the ServiceNow Agent mobile app and tap **My schedule**.

2.  Select the day for which you want to create an event.

3.  Tap the ellipsis icon in the top right and tap **Create event**.

4.  Enter the following information.

    -   Name
    -   Type
    -   Start Time
    -   End Time
    **Note:**

    The event type you select determines whether you can set a recurrence. **Time off** events don't support recurrence.

5.  If you want the event to repeat, tap **Repeat** and select how often it recurs.

    |Repeat|What you configure|
    |------|------------------|
    |Never|The event doesn't repeat.|
    |Daily|The number of days between occurrences, and the date the recurrence ends.|
    |Weekly|The days of the week the event occurs on, how many weeks between occurrences, and the date the recurrence ends.|
    |Monthly|The day of the month the event occurs on, how many months between occurrences, and the date the recurrence ends.|
    |Yearly|The month and day of the year the event occurs on, and the date the recurrence ends.|

6.  Tap **Submit**.

**Note:**

Because of time zone differences between devices, a generated occurrence might initially display on a different day than expected.
