# Create a recommendation context

Create a recommendation context to define a configuration that builds a template for recommending relevant records.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_reco\_template.recommendation\_writer or sn\_grc\_comp\_genai.reg\_change\_ai\_user

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **GRC Administration** > **Recommendation contexts** > **New**.

2.  On the form, fill in the fields.

    For a description of the field values, see [form](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/governance-risk-compliance/grc-common-functions/recommendation-context-form.md).

3.  Select **Submit**.


## Result

A new recommendation context is created. You can now create a recommendation template.
