# Entity filter fields

Descriptions of the fields displayed in the Entity filters related list under Entity type.

|Field|Description|
|-----|-----------|
|Entity filter type|Entity filter type such as Build your own conditions or Select from predefined queries.|
|Table|Table that contains the records to be queried.|
|Filter condition|Filter conditions for the source table to generate entities.|
|Default owner|Default owner for entities created from this filter when no source field is configured.|
|Derive owner from source field|Use a field on the source record as the entity owner instead of the default owner.|
|Source field for owner|Source record field used to derive the entity owner.|
|Auto-update owner|Automatically update the entity owner and class when the source record changes or the entity moves between filters.|
|Preferred for owner and class derivation|Give this filter priority for deriving entity owner and class when multiple filters apply to the same entity.|
|Empty owner|Action to take when the source field returns no owner.|
