# Review the framework core

Review the Framework Core that's activated with the NIST CSF application.

## Before you begin

Policy and Compliance Management Role required: admin

NIST CSF role required: sn\_irm\_nist\_csf.risk\_executive or sn\_irm\_nist\_csf.security\_officer

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **NIST CSF** > **Framework Core** and then select one of the following modules:

    -   **Identify**
    -   **Protect**
    -   **Detect**
    -   **Respond**
    -   **Recover**
    -   **Govern**
2.  In the Policy to Control Objectives form, click on one of the policy statements to review the information.

    **Note:** Policy statements are grouped by policies based on NIST CSF guidelines.

3.  If necessary, update the record with additional information.

4.  Click **Update**.
