# Impact Category record form

Use the Impact Category record form to add impact category details such as name, criteria, applicable timeframes, maximum RTO value, and so on in BCM UIB Workspace.

## Impact Category record form

For description of the field values, see the table.

|Field|Description|
|-----|-----------|
|Name|Name of the impact category.|
|Contributes to|Contribution to RPO or RTO as a result of the impact on business disruption. If the impact category contributes to Recovery Point Objective, then the Impact analysis questions related list appears.|
|Applicable timeframes|Duration of business process disruption. This field appears only if the **Contributes to** field value is **RTO**.|
|Maximum RTO value|Metric that calculates the maximum time limit within which the business must recover an element after a disruption.|
|Description|Brief description of the impact category.|
|Helper text|Field to add the helper text. It provides a hint to the users on how to respond to the assessment questions. The helper text is then displayed for the user in the business impact analysis record.|
