# Activate the common control objective creation skill

When activating the common control objective creation skill, the system uses generative AI to analyze the accepted duplicate control objectives and to generate a common control objective.

## Before you begin

Install the ServiceNow Otto for IRM plugin \(sn\_irm\_gen\_ai\).

Role required: sn\_nowassist\_admin.nsa\_admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Admin Center** > **AI Admin Hub**.

2.  In the **AI Skills** tab, navigate to **Technology** > **Risk & Sustainability**.

3.  On the **Now Assist Features** tab, under the Technology workflow group, select **Risk & Sustainability**.

    The IRM skills page lists the available generative AI capabilities for Policy and Compliance.

4.  On the General details page, review the information about the skill and then select **Save and Continue**.

    **Note:** This information is read-only.

5.  On the Summary fields page, review the columns that are being summarized to suggest the new common control objective and then select **Save and Continue**.

6.  On the Review and activate page, review the summary and select **Activate**.

    After activation, the Successfully Activated dialog box appears.

7.  In the Successfully Activated dialog box, select **Return to IRM** to navigate back to the IRM skills page.
