# Manage the source document import tasks

Manage the source document tasks, the associated source document alerts, and other relevant details in the Regulatory Change Tasks module. Use these tasks to identify and comply with the source document changes.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_grc\_reg\_change.manager, sn\_grc\_reg\_change.user, or sn\_grc\_reg\_change.admin

## About this task

A source document import task is used to ingest a particular source document that is received from the provider into the regulatory library.

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Application** > **Regulatory Change Management** > **Source Document Import Tasks**.

2.  Select a source document import task.

3.  On the form, fill in the fields.

Assignment group for the record. The group is selected from the Group Hierarchy table.

Approver type for the task. Choices are as follows:-   **User**
-   **Group**

 -   Update- to update an existing citation.

</table>4.  To apply your changes, do one of the following:

    -   To update the selected source document import task, select **Update**.
    -   To save the changes, select **Work in Progress**.
5.  To request an approval for the source document import task, select **Request Approval**.


## Result

A new citation is inserted or an existing citation is updated.
