Starting with release 12.x.x, recovery teams are created and managed at a global level so you can reuse them across plans and events. Create the recovery team first, and then add it to the plan. For more information, see [Create and manage a recovery team](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/governance-risk-compliance/create-recovery-team.md). ## Procedure 1. Navigate to **Business Continuity** > **Business Continuity Workspace**. 2. Click the lists icon \(\[Omitted image "ListsIcon.jpg"\] Alt text: Lists icon\). 3. Click **In Draft** state in the Planning list. 4. Click the link to the plan record in the **Name** column. 5. Click the **Recovery Teams** tab of the plan. 6. To add an existing recovery team to the plan, click **Add**. Select one or more active recovery teams from the global list and confirm the selection. If the team you need doesn't exist yet, see [Create and manage a recovery team](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/governance-risk-compliance/create-recovery-team.md) to create it, including its users, groups, and parent-child relationships, before adding it here. 7. Click **Submit**.
