# View recovery tasks from Self-Service

View the recovery tasks that are assigned to you or the recovery task team to recover assets from a crisis event or exercise. Your BCM program manager assigns the tasks to you and you can view them from the self-service application menu.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_bcm.recovery\_team\_member

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Self-Service** > **My Recovery Tasks**.

2.  View event tasks assigned to you, your assigned group, or your recovery team where the event state is not **Pending**.

    You can view the name and description of the recovery task.

3.  Select the link to the **Task ID** of an event task that you want to update.

    You can update the **Actual start** and **Actual end** details.

4.  Sort the **Event Type** column to list the crisis-related tasks at the top.

5.  View the **Event Task type** column to understand whether it is planned or an ad-hoc event.

6.  To add any notes to the event task activity, select the **Activity** section on the **Details** tab and add the information in the **Work notes** field.

7.  To update the task to an **In progress** state, select **Work in Progress**.

8.  To close the task, select either **Close Incomplete** or **Close Complete**.

9.  To update the record, select **Update**.
