# Customize the Government Service Portal

Modify the Government Service Portal to meet your needs, for example to set the portal branding.

## Before you begin

You can customize the Government Service Portal by following this procedure or by using [guided setup for Public Sector Digital Services Core application](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/government-industry/configure-psds-foundation-data.md).

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Service Portal** > **Service Portal Configuration**.

    Some of the components that you can customize include:

    -   **Branding**: [Configure the portal branding](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/platform-user-interface/c_BrandingEditor.md) to give your Government Service Portal its own look and feel. For example, you can give your portal a name and add your logo.
    -   **Menus**: [Configure the portal header menu](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/platform-user-interface/configure-header-menu.md) to set up the main menu, one of the main navigation controls for your users.
