# Approve publishing of a grant opportunity

As the designated approver of an internal program team, you can approve a grant program that is pending publishing to the grant management portal for applicants to view.

## Before you begin

Role required: gmp director?

In order to do this, you need to be added as an approver in the internal program team in the program setup. ## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **CSM Configurable Workspace**.

2.  Select the alert icon on the banner.

3.  Select the approval notification for the pending grant program.

4.  Select **Approve**.


## Result

The grant program is now approved and is rerouted back to the Grant Program Manager, who will set it to be published to the Grants Management Portal.
