# Add source values

Manually add the status or state values of your automation from the source system.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_ac.automation\_technical\_user or sn\_ac.automation\_admin

Proceed from the **Align source and destination fields** section. For information on aligning source and destination fields, see [Align source and destination fields](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/integrate-applications/automation-center/align-fields.md).

## Procedure

1.  Provide source values in the **Enter value** field.

2.  Select **Add**.

    After one value is added, another field appears for the next value. You can remove a value by select the delete icon \(-\) beside the value field.

3.  Select **Save and continue**.

    The **Map values** section is displayed.
