# Automation Center properties

You can access system properties for Automation Center by navigating to **All** > **Automation Center** > **Administration** > **Automation Properties**.

Controls how catalog items are onboarded as automations. Users with sn\_ac.automation\_admin can edit the system property.-   Type: **True \| False**
-   Default value: **True**
    -   **True \(default\)**: New catalog items are onboarded automatically and appear on the automation dashboard immediately. However, the time and cost savings aren't displayed.
    -   **False**: New catalog items are onboarded manually using the Automation Explorer feature. Generating this data takes longer, but the dashboard shows an expanded summary with time and cost savings for each catalog item.

Controls which instance types are PDI \(Personal Developer Instances\). When creating an agent, you need an instance. When you create an instance, this property is used to decide which instance types are PDI.-   Type: **string**
