# Create an automation request from Automation Center

Create an automation request from Automation Center to automatically streamline your business processes, reduce how much time is spent on manual activities, and reduce your costs.

## Before you begin

\(Optional\) Create an automation goal. For more information, see [Create an automation goal](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/integrate-applications/automation-center/create-automation-goal.md).

Role required: sn\_ac.automation\_business\_user, sn\_ac.automation\_technical\_user, or sn\_ac.automation\_admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Automation Center** > **Build** > **All Automation Requests**.

2.  Select **New**.

3.  On the form, fill in the fields.

4.  Select **Submit**.

5.  Complete the additional fields on the form, depending on your role.

6.  Select **Save**.

    **Note:** If you have the sn\_ac.automation\_technical\_user and sn\_ac.automation\_admin roles, you can view the Recommendations contextual panel.
