# Submit an Automation Request form

Use the Submit an Automation Request form to create an automation request in Service Catalog.

What is the request type?

</td><td>

Select the type of request you want to create.

 -   If you are creating an automation request, select **Automation**. Create automation requests when you want to automatically streamline your business processes, reduce the time that you spend on manual activities, and reduce your costs.

-   If you are creating an action request, select **Action**. Create action requests when you want an automated solution to repeated issues that are causing the automations to fail.

-   If you are creating a review request, select **Review**. Create a review request when you want the COE team to review an automation and analyze if the automation is required.

Field that describes if the cadence of the business process execution is by minutes, hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly.

Number of times that the automation process is executed per interval.

Identify all applications/systems involved in the process

What is the actual time spent per run?

The time that the manual run takes to complete.
