# Obtaining data from Workday using REST APIs

Access data from Workday using REST APIs.

Workday is a set of applications for financial management, human capital management, and student information.

To use Workday data in Zero Copy Connector for ERP \(Enterprise Resource Planning\), upload a Workday metadata \(XML\) file when adding an entity to a model using REST.

You can download, edit, or delete the metadata file using the icons.

After you upload the file, its entities appear in the Model Manager.
