# Start a workflow execution from a selected component in RPA Desktop Design Studio

Start a workflow execution from a component instead of at the beginning of the workflow by using the **Run From Here** option in RPA Desktop Design Studio. This functionality allows you to rapidly develop and test the automation workflows.

## Before you begin

Configure a component. For more information, see [Use a component in RPA Desktop Design Studio](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/integrate-applications/configure-components.md).

Role required: none

## Procedure

1.  In the RPA Desktop Design Studio, on the Design surface, right-click the title bar of the component from where you want to start the execution.

2.  Select **Run From Here**.
