An issue tracks a problem identified with an AI asset that needs a resolution or an action plan, such as a gap surfaced during a governance review. Related issues can be grouped under a parent issue so they can be tracked and managed together. For more information about governance records associated with AI systems, see [Governing AI asset risk and compliance](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/intelligent-experiences/gov-airc-ai-asset.md). ## Issue lifecycle An issue starts in a new state and moves through analysis and response before you close it as complete or incomplete. An AI steward or asset owner creates the issue and assigns it to a user or group to work. The assignee analyzes the issue, documents a recommendation and an action plan, and moves it toward resolution. ## Where issues appear Issues appear on the **Issues** sub-tab of the **Team**, **Assigned to you**, **Unassigned**, and **Submitted by you** tabs in Activity Center, depending on assignment.
