Update Data Source Access: The connector requires write permissions to the Data Source table to create data sources. To enable data source creation: 1. Select **Global** from the application picker. 2. Navigate to **Application Access**. 3. Select the **Can create**, **Can update**, and **Can delete** check boxes. 4. Select **Update**. 5. Switch to the connector application scope. Clear the cached data for the Data Source and Tables. To clear the cache: 1. Navigate to **System Definition** > **Background Scripts**. 2. Enter the following script in the **Run Script** text box: ``` GlideTableManager.invalidateTable('sys_data_source'); GlideCacheManager.flushTable('sys_data_source'); GlideTableManager.invalidateTable('sys_db_object'); GlideCacheManager.flushTable('sys_db_object'); ``` 3. Select **Run Script**. **Note:** The script might take several minutes to complete. After completion, switch to the connector application scope. ## Salesforce Prerequisites Before proceeding, ensure you have: - Salesforce Account: Active Salesforce account with access to the services you want to connect. - Credentials: Salesforce Consumer Key and Consumer Secret with read permissions for the services you plan to integrate. Required Permissions: These are found in Permission Sets or Profiles → System Permissions section: - Manage Al Agents \(core/common permission required in almost all cases\). - Agent-type-specific: - Service Agents \(common use case\): Manage Agentforce Service Agents + Manage Al Agents. - Agentforce \(Default\) Agent: Manage Agentforce Default Agent + Manage Al Agents. - Employee Agents: Manage Al Agents \(sometimes Manage Agentforce Employee Agents or Manage Employee Agent Access \(Beta\) for access management\). Salesforce Setup Documentation: Use these Salesforce resources to set up credentials and enable services: - [Salesforce - Setting up Consumer Key and Consumer Secret](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=xcloud.connected_app_create.htm&type=5) - [Salesforce Agent force Studio](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ai.agent_builder_studio.htm&type=5) ## Data Mapping AI Agents: alm\_ai\_system\_digital\_asset -> Model table \(cmdb\_ai\_system\_component\_product\_model\)
