# AI Plan configuration

The AI Plan tab in AI Control Tower displays when the Strategic Planning application is installed. It requires no additional configuration once installed.

**Note:** You must have Strategic Planning 4.14.0 or later to use the Plan menu in AI Control Tower

During installation of Strategic Planning, the sn\_align\_core.apw\_user, it\_demand\_manager, and it\_project\_manager roles are automatically added to the sn\_ai\_governance.ai\_steward role.

Users with the sn\_ai\_governance.ai\_steward role can access the Plan menu to strategize, prioritize, and execute AI strategic items.
